Celebrate for St Clare!

Are you celebrating a special occasion this year? Whether it is a special birthday or anniversary, a christening, a wedding or even your celebration of Christmas time, Celebration Giving is a positive and unique way of celebrating a special occasion whilst supporting the work of St Clare Hospice.

 

Liza’s Story

After losing her sister Pat to brain cancer in 2006 Liza Street decided to celebrate her 40th birthday whilst raising much needed funds for St Clare Hospice.

 

“I was so overwhelmed by the wonderful support we received from St Clare that I wanted something ‘good’ to come out of such  a painful time.  So this year, for my 40th Birthday, I decided to celebrate Pat’s life and at the same time raise much needed funds for St Clare.”

Request a Celebration Pack

Celebration Giving is for people who would like to support our work rather than receiving presents.  It is very simple to do.  Just let us know that you would like to ask your friends and family to make a donation to our Hospice instead of receiving  traditional presents by calling us on (01279) 773 750 and we will send you our Celebration pack. 

 

Inside the Celebration Pack you will find leaflets and personalised forms for sending out with your invites. Your friends and family can choose a gift, for example £30 will pay for our Advice Line for 24 hours, or simply make a donation, no matter how small.  Every gift will be helping us ensure we provide excellent care and support to our patients and their families.
 
Of course, all donations will be acknowledged with our special thank-you cards, which we can send to you to personalise or we can send out for you if you prefer.  We can also provide collection envelopes if you would prefer to have these at your celebratory event.

Finally, we will let you know exactly how much was raised for your celebration and you will know the benefit that you have provided to our patients and their families. What could be a better way of feeling good on your special occasion?

For a simple way to collect donations online, set up your own JustGiving page. If anyone cannot make it along to your celebration, send them the link to the page and ask for a donation instead!
