Working With Others - Education resources

A life threatening illness affects the body, mind, spirit, social well-being, the family of the patient and the care team. Hospice education strives to improve skills, knowledge and attitudes in all these areas.

St Clare Hospice provides a number of educational activities designed to meet the needs of our colleagues in the NHS, Nursing Homes, Community Teams and acute care settings. In addition to Hospice-based education, staff can provide courses and study days at the care providers' own premises.

Event: GENERAL ONCOLOGY AND PALLIATIVE MEDICINE:
WHAT A GENERALIST NEEDS TO KNOW

This event was held for healthcare professionals from all the region with an interest in Palliative care on 8th July 2013. The audience attended the event at St Clare Hospice.

Thanks to all speakers, attendees and sponsors
