St Clare Hospice shops exist solely to raise money for, and awareness of, St Clare Hospice. Our shops, in Buckhurst Hill, Debden, Epping, Great Dunmow, Harlow and Saffron Walden sell a range of good quality donated goods and selected new gift lines.  Our Bishop’s Stortford bookshop mainly sells donated books, music and DVDs, plus some new gift lines.

Our shops could not operate without the generous donations of good quality clean clothes, accessories, bric-a-brac, books, furniture and general household items. Check out ‘Donating goods to our shops’ for more information on how to donate.

 

What’s more if you are a taxpayer your donated goods can be worth even more to St Clare Hospice. You may already know about Gift Aid, and how it enables us to claim back the tax you pay on any cash donations you give to us.

 

The exciting news is that we can now do this with your unwanted clothes, books, furniture and household items – in fact anything you donate to us that we are able to sell! Go to ‘Gift Aid your donations to our shops’ to find out how.
