Jenny began her nursing career at London’s Royal Free Hospital in 1976, where she trained as a Registered General Nurse.

Aboutus-trustees-Jenny MinihaneAfter taking a career break to get married and have her two children, Jenny re-launched her nursing career in 1985 at St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping specialising in elderly medicine.

She became Director of Older People’s Services and Lead Nurse for Epping Forest Primary Care Trust in 2000. In 2011, she was appointed Director of Nursing and Modernisation for West Essex Primary Care Trust.

As Executive Nurse, Jenny represented nursing at board level, leading on the development and monitoring of patient experience, quality indicators, safeguarding, research and clinical pathway development, including end of life care. It was during this period she became involved with St Clare.

Now working as an independent health and social care consultant, Jenny, who lives in Harlow with husband Martin, became a Hospice trustee in 2013.

She spends her spare time having fun with her granddaughter, travelling, gardening and looking after her allotment and chickens.
