Café Clare – NEW FOR 2018!
Open every Friday morning
Held from 9:30am-12pm in the Hospice Dining Room
Our Café Clare group offers you the chance to meet others socially, in a relaxed and friendly environment, for coffee and cake.
Café Clare is open every Friday morning and is available to people who have completed a Day Therapy group, or those who just wish to gain some support from their peers on an informal basis.
The group is open to any St Clare patient. You can attend once a week, or whenever you would like, and you do not need to let us know in advance if you will be coming.
Physiotherapy Group – NEW FOR 2018!
Held once a week on a Monday morning
The aim of this weekly drop-in exercise group is to enable people to take part in a tailored exercise programme, led by a qualified physiotherapist.
Exercising can help to relieve some of the symptoms associated with a life-limiting diagnosis, and enables people to remain active and independent.
The group is open to all existing St Clare patients and is a drop-in group. At the first session, people will be assessed by our physiotherapist and given their own exercise programme, adapted to their needs.
It’s a chance for people to meet up and exercise once a week, or whenever they want to attend, to help keep them active.
Our Physiotherapy Group is designed for people with life-limiting conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, heart failure, cancer and COPD.
Creative Drop-in – NEW FOR 2018!
Held every other week on a Friday afternoon
A relaxing and enjoyable fortnightly drop-in group where people can learn new skills and find enjoyment through creative activities.
The group is open to all existing St Clare patients and is a drop-in group, run by our Day Therapy Assistant.
It’s a chance to meet up with other people and enjoy taking part in a creative activity once a fortnight, or whenever you want to attend.
