St Clare Hospice invited clinicians to understand more about Neurological Diseases and Palliative Care at their first-ever Learning Together Study Day in June

The first of our two new Learning Together Study Days took place on Tuesday 25th June 2024 at Harlow Study Centre. Delegates were invited to improve their knowledge and understanding of palliative and end-of-life care for patients with neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease, MND and advanced dementia, through a series of insightful guest presentations, round-table discussions and information stands.

Delegates from hospital teams, care homes and other healthcare settings heard from St Clare Hospice’s own expert clinical team as well as a line-up of experienced, specialist practitioners in the fields of oncology, neurology and palliative care as they explored how we can improve end-of-life care for those diagnosed with life-limiting neurological conditions by supporting the complex physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual needs of patients.
