Join us to remember and celebrate the life of someone special…

StarLight up a Life is our annual celebration of everything that St Clare stands for – joining together with families from across our community in honour of their loved ones. Candles are lit as we remember, with every shining light representing the life and memories of a loved one.

We will be holding three services here at the Hospice in Hastingwood, one of which is on Saturday 18th December at 7.00pm. Everyone, of all faiths and none, is welcome to attend these free services, not just those who have experienced St Clare’s support first-hand.

Each service will be held outside in a marquee on the Hospice grounds. As always, you can expect festive readings, music and refreshments on the day. New to 2021, we are now also inviting families with young children (under 18’s) to come along an hour before the service starts at 6.00pm if they would like to take part in our arts and crafts activities led by our Child Bereavement Team. Children will be given the chance to create something special and meaningful for their loved ones in a fun and relaxed environment.

These events will be ticketed and will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis, so please sign up as soon as possible.

Please note: All Light up a Life services being held at St Clare Hospice are now fully booked.

We are also holding a number of Light up a Life services in local churches throughout our catchment area – click here to see what churches are taking part this year.

For more information on this special event, please contact our Individual Giving Fundraiser Reah Norris on 01279 773750 or email [email protected]

These services are kindly supported by Astro Lighting
