Join us to remember and celebrate the life of someone special…
Light up a Life is our annual celebration of everything that St Clare stands for – joining together with families from across our community in honour of their loved ones. Candles are lit as we remember, with every shining light representing the life and memories of a loved one.
Everyone, of all faiths and none, is welcome to attend these free services, not just those who have experienced St Clare’s support first-hand.
This year we will be holding three services at St Clare Hospice, please click on the link below for more information on these services.
- Thursday 16th December, 7-8pm – FULLY BOOKED
- Saturday 18th December, 3-4pm
- Saturday 18th December, 7-8pm
We will also be holding a number of Light up a Life services throughout our local community for those that would rather attend their local church for a Light up a Life service.
Our Waltham Abbey event will be held at Waltham Abbey Church on Thursday 2nd December 2021 at 7.00pm. Please note, parking is available outside Abbey Church (free for 2 hours) or in the Cornmill car park or the Abbey Gardens car park.

This year, we are offering Light up a Life services at different venues throughout your local area. We would love for you to join us at one of these events.
You will only need to register for the Light up a Life services being held at St Clare Hospice – if you want to attend a service held by a local church, such as Waltham Abbey, please just arrive on the day at the time listed.
You can however use the below booking form to make a donation, add your dedication names to our Book of Remembrance and/or request a Light up a Life Star.
These services are kindly supported by Astro Lighting
