“We’re more than you think”
Launched last year, our Open Hospice events provide a valuable opportunity for people to learn more about the Hospice, get involved with future planning and find out how they can work with us.
This year, we are running our Open Hospice events again, as part of the national awareness week Dying Matters, which runs from 10-16th May. Our evening event, taking place 7-8pm on Tuesday 11th May, is open to anyone from our local community who is interested in finding out more about St Clare Hospice.
The event, which will be delivered via Zoom, will outline what we do and the services we offer. During the event, a range of speakers from the Hospice will talk about different areas of their work and demonstrate that “we’re more than you think” – the overall theme for this year’s events. At the event, you will be able to find out more about us and what we can do for you. We’ll be talking about the opportunities we have for people to get involved, by supporting us through fundraising, our Lottery, shopping with us and by volunteering with us.
Additional to this, you will also have an opportunity to hear more about our future plans and help us to shape them in order to deliver services that our community needs.
This event is free to attend but you must register in advance on Eventbrite to receive the Zoom event link.
