Discover how you can make a difference volunteering for St Clare at the hospice’s Volunteer Recruitment Morning

Why should I attend?

We are in need of extra help to support our services – and are inviting anyone who wants to do something rewarding with their spare time to find out more.

Come along with a friend (or two!) to our Volunteer Recruitment Morning and find out how you can give a little and gain a lot as a St Clare volunteer in 2024.

When is the event?

We’ll be welcoming you into the hospice on Saturday 1st June. Here you’ll have the chance to meet our Volunteer Development Team, have a tour of the Hospice and learn more about the many volunteer roles available.

You can book onto a welcome session either at 10.30am or 12pm.

Our volunteer opportunities are varied, flexible and support every aspect of St Clare Hospice’s work.

Although, we are particularly keen to recruit:

What are the benefits of volunteering?

In addition to being hugely rewarding, there are many benefits to volunteering, from learning new skills, or utilising an existing skill, to gaining valuable work experience and meeting new people. The wellbeing benefits are well known too, with volunteering proven to boost mental health and reduce stress, providing a sense of purpose and fulfilment and improving confidence and self-esteem.

Who can volunteer at St Clare Hospice?

People of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend our Volunteer Recruitment Morning, and no previous experience is necessary as full training and ongoing support is provided.
