Meet the dedicated St Clare Hospice Lottery Team, who work hard to ensure the Lottery is run compliantly, is well promoted, and raises as much money as possible for our hospice.
Lottery Office
Lisa works at St Clare Hospice in the fundraising team office. She processes all the members’ payments that come in by cheque, card and Direct Debit, deals with any queries, runs the draw every week, and most importantly sends out all the winning cheques!
She also coordinates our teams of canvassers and ensures that our lottery is run compliantly in accordance with our Gambling Commission licence.

Lottery Canvassers
Our canvassing team from Lottery Promotion Services, The Fundraising Partnership and our self-employed canvassers work on behalf of the Hospice to promote our Lottery and inspire people to support our caring work by signing up. They are easily identifiable in St Clare Hospice uniforms and have ID badges showing their photos and the St Clare Hospice Logo. They all love meeting and chatting with people in our community, thanking those of you who already play, and giving those who don’t the opportunity to support us and hopefully be our next big winner!
If you see them at a venue or they visit you at home, please give them a warm welcome; they work really hard to raise awareness and funds for St Clare Hospice.

A Personal Touch
You may receive a phone call from Lesley from APT (A Personal Touch). She will call from either 01202 777625 or 01202 773345. Lesley is working with the St Clare Hospice Lottery team to help to increase the vital funds needed for our charity to provide free, compassionate care and support to adults with life-limiting illnesses, their families, and carers. She loves to chat with our current members to say thank you, and she can offer the opportunity to increase your chances of winning. If you are a previous player, she can help you reinstate your support.
Volunteers
Maxine is one of our lovely volunteers who works in the lottery office at the hospice. She is currently making calls to players to say thank you, and also to check that contact details are up to date, as often people forget to let us know when they have moved – we need to make sure that we know where to send your winning cheque to!
