Location: St Clare Hospice, Hastingwood, CM7 9JX
Salary: £23,000.00 p.a. (£28,750.00 full time equivalent)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Overview of role
This is an exciting opportunity to join St Clare Hospice as a Chaplain in our multidisciplinary Patient and Family Support Services Team. You will be responsible for supporting the religious care and spiritual wellbeing of patients, their families and carers, staff and volunteers, regardless of faith or life stance.
You will develop and lead a team of spiritual carers, representing the diversity of faiths and spiritual beliefs, to offer this support throughout the organisation together with and building effective relationships both internally and externally, strengthening community links.
You will be a member of an established and recognised church, religious or faith-based organisation and ordained/licensed to one of the member churches of The Churches Together in England. You will have experience of providing care and/or spiritual support to the bereaved together with a knowledge and understanding of the spiritual care needs within a palliative care environment
