Our nine charity shops located throughout West Essex and East Herts offer a wonderful range of both pre-loved and new goods, including clothing, shoes, accessories, furniture, homeware, collectables - and everything in between! Relying entirely on your generous donations, every item we receive contributes to helping us raise vital income for the Hospice.
If you would like to donate goods to St Clare Hospice, you can do so by dropping them off to any of our nine shops or at the Hospice itself, in Hastingwood. You may also arrange for larger items, such as furniture, to be collected by our trusty St Clare van – free of charge! You can book a collection via our website.
If you are a UK Tax Payer, then don’t forget to sign up to Gift Aid when donating goods! The average bag of donated goods is worth £20 to the Hospice, which grows to £25 if Gift Aided!
Many of our shops offer great-quality furniture and homeware for shoppers to browse and buy. We’re always happy to help our customers make the best of their shopping experience, which is why we offer a special St Clare delivery service for larger items that our shoppers purchase in store! To enquire about this service, please contact our Distribution team on 01279 639760.
Our St Clare eBay shop offers a hand-picked collection of our most exclusive items that local people have donated to the Hospice. Boasting an eclectic selection of valuable collectables and memorabilia, as well as designer goods, jewellery, specialist equipment and more, our eBay store is sure to inspire you for a touch of retail therapy! “If you think you’ve got more than you need or will ever wear, then why not bag it up and take it to your local hospice shop? Hospices across the UK care for 360,000 people and their families a year, and most of this is paid for through support from the local community including donated items sold in their shops.” – Gok Wan
