Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

As part of our precautionary measures to help delay the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Café Clare events at St Clare Hospice have been cancelled until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience. To read our latest updates and guidance on how we are responding to the Coronavirus outbreak, please visit stclarehospice.org.uk/coronavirus

Café Clare Zooms into the future!

We are now hosting Café Clare ‘virtual’ meet-ups via Zoom, every Friday morning from 10am – 12 noon!

These Zoom meetings are a great way to meet up with other local people connected to St Clare Hospice, from the comfort of your own home.

Facilitated by a member of staff at the Hospice, you’ll enjoy a morning of activities, games, quizzes and more to start your Friday off right!

For details on how to join these meetings, please get in touch with our Community Engagement Manager, Sally Muylders, at sally.muylders@stclarehospice.org.uk

Café ClareConnect at Café Clare through Facebook!

We are delighted to invite you to our new Café Clare Facebook Group – a space for local people in West Essex and East Hertfordshire to connect with each other and their local hospice charity.

Our Café Clare Facebook Group has been developed as a response to the temporary closure of our weekly Friday morning coffee shop events at St Clare Hospice, due to Coronavirus. It is moderated by St Clare Hospice staff to ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all local people.

Everyone is welcome to join our Café Clare Facebook Group. Whether you already have a link to St Clare, or you’re looking to build a connection with our hospice; we’d love you to join and say ‘hello’.

The Group is there for you to use in a way that best suits you. It is both a place where our regular Café Clare coffee shop visitors can meet and connect, and a space for our patients and service users to chat to their peers. We welcome people who have not yet made contact with our Hospice to join, to meet others and join our St Clare community. It’s a Group all about people, and making connections with others – where everyone is valued and welcome.

If you’d like to join our Café Clare Facebook Group, please visit facebook.com/groups/cafeclare
