Frequently Asked Questions

The trek is graded moderate to challenging as you will trek over varying terrain for up to 8 hours a day, carrying a small daypack which may weigh up to 6kg, and camping in basic campsites along the way. You will also be exposed to altitudes up to a maximum of 2875m (9429ft).

St Clare Hospice’s 2028 Indian Himalayas trek will see trekkers arrive in Delhi before taking on a 5-day trek through:

• Dharamshala – Nowli – Kareri Lake
• Kareri Lake – Kareri Village
• Kareri – Bahl
• Bahl – Triund
• Triund – Mcleodgunj – Pathankot

After completing the trek, participants will return to Delhi to explore Old Delhi, enjoy a farewell dinner, and celebrate their achievement before flying home to the UK.

For St Clare Hospice’s Indian Himalayas trek, we ask that participants commit to raising a minimum of £3,995.
