We find that many people choose to honour the memory of someone special by raising funds for St Clare Hospice in their name. By doing so, you will be enabling others to benefit from our care and support in the future.

There are different ways to donate to St Clare Hospice in memory of someone. You might decide to:

  • Collect donations – via cash, card or cheque – at your loved one’s funeral or memorial service or during a special occasion that is in memory of a loved one
  • Make a single donation to St Clare Hospice on behalf of you or your family
  • Create a personalised dedicated leaf on our Memory Tree
  • Let their memory bloom on by dedicating a personalised heart to our Serenity Garden
  • Leave a gift to St Clare Hospice in your will
  • Create an online MuchLoved tribute where you can collect donations for St Clare Hospice, in memory of someone special.

Whichever you decide, every donation we receive will help to fund expert, compassionate hospice care for families who need us in West Essex and across the East Hertfordshire borders.

A MuchLoved online tribute page is a dedicated space where friends and family can donate, share memories, upload photos, and leave messages in memory of a loved one. These pages do not close, so you can return on meaningful dates and light a virtual candle.

Every donation helps St Clare Hospice continue providing care and support to local people facing life-limiting illness, end of life, and bereavement.

1 in 7 St Clare patients are cared for thanks to the generosity of people leaving a gift in their will. By leaving a gift in your will, in memory of someone you love and miss, you can help hospice care live on – now and into the future. Click here to learn more.
