Our stories

Since 1990 St Clare staff have been supporting the people of West Essex throughout one of life’s most difficult journeys. It is an honour and privilege to serve our local communities, yet we know more people need our help. By sharing our stories, we aim to dispel fears and anxiety around visiting a hospice, so that we can offer our care to more people who need us.

Learn more about hospice care, from the people who make St Clare the special place that it is. Meet the team – from nurses, doctors and therapists, to ‘behind-the-scenes’ office and support staff. We all work together to change lives and make a difference.
