Supporting St Clare Hospice through your place of work

If you own a business, or work locally, you can support St Clare Hospice. For us, every corporate partnership is unique, and we will work with you to help develop a partnership that is right for your business.

There are plenty of opportunities to give back to your community through supporting your local hospice charity…

Donate to our charity

Make a monetary donation

For every £1 that is donated to St Clare, 87p goes directly on paying for our specialist care services for those who need us. The other 14p goes towards our vital support teams who ensure our hospice services run effectively and sustainably. We gratefully receive any monetary gift, no matter how big or small; whether it’s a donation from your business or something you have fundraised for with your colleagues at work.

Give a Gift in Kind

Your business may wish to buy vital care equipment for us, or offer business services to us as a charitable donation. Alternatively, you could donate new or pre-loved items to us; so we can sell these in our charity shops, or use them in auctions or raffles. This will help us to generate financial income that pays for our care.

Payroll Giving

If you’d like to make a regular, tax-free donation to St Clare Hospice, you can do so straight from your wages through the organisation you work with. Your donation to St Clare could be as little as £5 a month; but will make a big difference to our charity. With Payroll Giving, depending on your income tax bracket, the cost of your donation is reduced by 20-30%, too; so your £5 donation comes straight to St Clare, but you only pay £3-4!

Partnerships with St Clare for local businesses

Our corporate partnerships enable you to build a long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationship with our charity. We’ll work together to support both the hospice, and your local business, to reach new audiences and strengthen links with our communities.

Become a Sponsor

Here at St Clare, we run a multitude of supportive community projects, as well as local fundraising events to help us raise vital income. We gratefully welcome sponsorship from local businesses who wish to help alleviate some of the running costs of our charitable activities; so that we can ensure as much resource as possible is spent directly on providing life-changing services to local people.

Sponsoring an event or project with St Clare Hospice is a powerful way to align with our organisation and charitable mission, raising awareness of your business to local people who already engage with our charity. We’ll proudly display your logo on our relevant marketing materials. And, we’ll promote our partnership with local networks and the public.

Charity of the Year

Nominating St Clare Hospice as your company’s Charity of the Year is a great way to show ongoing and dedicated commitment to supporting your local community.

A Charity of the Year partnership entails working with us for the duration of a year. You’ll help raise both vital income, and awareness of our services.

By affiliating with St Clare, we’ll also proudly support you throughout your fundraising journey. And, we’ll look to promote our partnership to local networks and the public. By entering a one-year partnership with us, your colleagues, clients and customers will know that your support for St Clare is contributing to vital care and support that touches the lives of neighbours, friends and family.
