St Clare Hospice invited clinicians to understand more about Neurological Diseases and Palliative Care at their first-ever Learning Together Study Day in June

The first of our two new Learning Together Study Days took place on Tuesday 25th June 2024 at Harlow Study Centre.

Delegates were invited to improve their knowledge and understanding of palliative and end-of-life care for patients with neurological conditions, such as:

  • Parkinson’s disease
  • MND
  • Advanced dementia

The study day explored how we can improve end-of-life care by supporting the complex physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual needs of patients, through an insightful series of guest presentations, round-table discussions and information stands.

  • St Clare Hospice’s own expert clinical team
  • A line-up of experienced, specialist practitioners in the fields of oncology, neurology and palliative care.
