If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation to St Clare Hospice go even further – at no extra cost to you.
By signing up to Gift Aid, St Clare Hospice can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate which can help us to provide even more compassionate care and support to local people facing life-limiting illness.
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities like St Clare Hospice to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. It doesn’t cost you anything, but it makes a big difference to us.
Who can sign up?
You can sign up for Gift Aid if:
- You are a UK taxpayer
- You pay at least as much in Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax as the amount we will claim in Gift Aid on your donations in the tax year
If your circumstances change and you no longer pay enough tax, you can cancel your declaration at any time.
