Remember someone special at Loughton Methodist Church, Essex
We would like to invite you, your family and friends to join us at this year’s Light up a Life service held in Loughton, hosted by Loughton Town Council and Loughton Methodist Church.
Light up a Life is our annual celebration of everything that St Clare Hospice stands for – joining together with families from across our community in honour of their loved ones. Candles are lit as we remember, with every shining light representing the life and memories of a loved one.

- Time – 4.30pm
- Location – Loughton Methodist Church
- Parking – Car parking is available at Traps Hill and Smarts Lane car parks
This year’s service will take place outdoors. The procession will leave Loughton Methodist Church at 4.45pm and walk to Kings Green for a reflection service. Afterwards, everyone is invited back to the church to enjoy hot drinks and mince pies.
Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you or not have experienced St Clare’s care, and no matter how long ago your loss was.
You will only need to register for the Light up a Life services held at St Clare Hospice – if you want to attend a service in the community, such as Loughton, please just arrive on the day at the time listed.
