Club together for your local hospice charity at the St Clare Hospice Golf Day

Get your clubs at the ready to tee off in the St Clare Hospice Charity Golf Day at Saffron Walden Golf Cluball to raise vital funds for your local hospice.

On Thursday 16th May 2024, you can join us on the green in the charming surrounds of the illustrious Audley End mansion. Here you’ll be able to enjoy:

  • 18-hole round of golf, for a good cause.
  • A delicious two-course dinner.
  • The thrill of an auction.
  • The chance to win prizes for the winning teams, nearest-the-pin and longest drives.

The competition is open to teams of up to four players with registration priced at £400 per team. Or, if you’re registering individually, you can pay £100 for your place and we’ll set you up with other players to create a team.

Over the past 17 years, the Rotary Club of Epping have raised over £212,000 for St Clare Hospice through this annual event. In fact, in 2023, the St Clare Golf Day raised over £16,000 alone.

£16,000 could pay for the cost of running our Community Palliative Care team for four days, who visit patients and their families at home to help them manage complex symptoms themselves, to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.
