Bob WestonBob Weston set up his own business, Weston Homes, in 1987 starting in a room above his own garage, together with his founding business partner, Richard Taylor. In the four decades since then, his company has remained an independent, family-run business – which means Bob’s original ethos still runs through the company, despite its tremendous growth and the lure of high-value mergers.

Bob Weston has always been keen to share the success of his business and goes above and beyond to support charities within the communities where Weston Homes builds developments. St Clare Hospice has been one of the fortunate beneficiaries of Bob Weston from almost the moment the charity was formed in 1990.

Bob Weston has been a dedicated and long-running ambassador of St Clare, helping to raise over £800,000 for the Hospice in the past two decades. Bob also led the planning and building of the Taylor Centre, a purpose-built office and storage facility at the hospice which opened in 2016, with Weston Homes sponsoring over fifty percent of the £820,000 building costs, as well as providing the expertise of over 50 building contractors. The new building has revolutionised the care St Clare is able to provide, and has safe-guarded the expansion of the hospice for at least the next decade.
