Make a difference in your local community with the power of music!

We are appealing for donations of vinyl and records for our specialist music and book store based in Bishop’s Stortford.

The store’s collection of vinyl is extensive, featuring works from throughout the 20th century through to more contemporary choices.

Clive Bilby, a regular customer who left an online review of the shop on Google in January 2018, said:

“If you like vinyl records or old vintage books, this is heaven. Prices are reasonable, and you can find some real gems here, even things like old gramaphones. Staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable in their chosen fields, and are keen to help. There is ramp access and the layout is good. As it is all for charity, it is hard to fault it.”

The store was also named as the ‘most interesting shop’ in the town by Ben Hewer, Bishop’s Stortford Independent cartoonist and Creative Director of Novo Creative, in an article in the Bishop’s Stortford Independent local newspaper in December 2017.

St Clare Hospice’s specialist music and books shop in Bishop’s Stortford is located at 10 Devoils Lane, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 3XH.

To donate your new and pre-loved vinyl, simply drop it off to any of St Clare Hospice’s 8 shops located throughout West Essex and Bishop’s Stortford. For more information on St Clare’s charity shops, please visit: stclarehospice.org.uk/shop/shops
