Local Estate Agents, Mullucks Wells, lend a hand with a van for St Clare!
West Essex and East Herts based estate agents, Mullucks Wells, have lent a helping hand to their local Hospice by sponsoring our new shop donations van.
On 19th October St Clare celebrated their partnership with their new van sponsor Mullucks Wells, who have paid for the graphics on the Hospice’s donations van.
The new van is vital in ensuring the Retail arm of the charity runs efficiently – with the drivers covering more than 18,000 miles every year across West Essex and East Herts, collecting donations and making deliveries to our eight shops. We also offer a free furniture collection service across our catchment area, with the sale of donated furniture making a vital contribution to our Retail team’s half a million pound annual target.
Commenting on the new van, St Clare Head of Retail, Fiona Eaton, said:
“We are delighted to have our new van on the road and are extremely grateful to Mullucks Wells for their sponsorship. The van travels up and down West Essex and East Herts – from Saffron Walden, Thaxted and Dunmow in the north of our patch, to Bishop’s Stortford, Epping, Loughton and Buckhurst Hill in the south. Donations of furniture are an absolutely vital source of income for St Clare, and our new van and online booking facility will make it easier than ever before to donate your quality items of furniture to us.”

“Keep an eye out for our new van in your area, as we will be running a number of furniture donation-drives in the next few weeks – parking up at local village halls and community centres to collect your items of pre-loved furniture. We also take bookings for individual pick-ups straight from your door, so make sure you think of St Clare as your first port of call when you are looking for a new home for your good quality furniture!”
St Clare is particularly looking to receive donations of: sofas and armchairs; dining tables and chairs; occasional tables and quality bookcases; wardrobes, dressing tables and chests of drawers; and divans with mattresses.
