Our St Clare Loughton shop reveals its new fashion look as 271 Fashion!

St Clare Hospice’s charity shop in Loughton was officially re-opened and revealed its new look as ‘271 Fashion’ on Saturday 2 September.

The shop, which is located at 271 High Road, has undergone a makeover and been re-branded as a men’s and women’s fashion specialist. The new-look store was re-opened at an event attended by hospice staff, volunteers and shoppers. Over the course of the launch weekend, 271 Fashion was busy with browsers and shoppers, and customer feedback was entirely positive.

Stephen Murray Deputy Mayor at  Loughton Town Council and family supporter of St Clare was invited to help officially re-launch Loughton’s newest fashion store, ‘271 Fashion’.

Commenting on the new store, Stephen said:

“I was delighted to launch St Clare’s new-look store in Loughton, 271 Fashion, and to do my bit to help a fantastic local charity. St Clare’s Retail team have to raise around half a million pounds every year to help the hospice continue to deliver its care, free of charge, and so it is so important to help support the charity by donating and shopping in their stores. I love the new style they have gone for at 271 – they have some great high street fashion brands in there, as well as new stock, and plenty of both menswear and ladies’ fashion. If you are out in Loughton High Road it is definitely worth paying a visit to 271 and seeing what fashion bargain you can bag for yourself!”

St Clare Hospice’s 271 Loughton shop manager, Jo Leal, commented:

“We are so pleased to welcome back our regular shoppers, and new customers too, into our re-branded 271 Fashion store. We have given the store a face lift – with new chic grey walls, a new brand and logo, and an additional changing room.”

“We are so excited to have gathered the best of St Clare’s high street fashion all in one place, with popular brands such as River Island, Hollister and Zara a regular feature on our shelves. We also have a whole range of brand new goods for sale as well – including men’s clothes, accessories and footwear, and women’s fashion and accessories. Next time you are in Loughton, make sure you pop in and pay us a visit – and treat yourself to some fashionable retail therapy.”
