How would you spend £2,000? By splashing out on a family holiday? Putting down a deposit on a new car? Or treating yourself to a whole new wardrobe? You could be answering that very question as the winner of the St Clare Hospice Spring Raffle 2017!
The annual St Clare Spring Raffle is back, kindly sponsored by Pawley and Malyon Chartered Accountants, with every ticket sold helping St Clare Hospice to continue providing our free and compassionate care and support to local people and their loved ones.
Tickets for our annual prize draw are on sale for just £1, so if you want to help local families in need whilst also being in with a chance of winning the amazing £2,000 first place prize, then don’t delay in buying yours!
The lucky winner will be picked during a draw taking place at the Hospice in Hastingwood on Friday, 31 March. Other fabulous cash prizes are also on offer with second place bagging £1,000 and third place going home with £500.
This year St Clare is hoping to raise more than £25,000 in vital funding from its Spring Raffle, which could cover the cost of providing our Patient and Family Support Services for over seven weeks. With limited NHS funding, St Clare is reliant on the generosity of our supporters to help raise the income we need each and every year to help fund our free care.
St Clare Lottery Manager Sarah Gleeson said: “Every ticket you buy helps St Clare to continue being there for local families facing one of life’s hardest journeys. The Spring Raffle aims to raise over £25,000 which could fund the equivalent of seven weeks’ worth of our Patient and Family Support Services – the team who provide counseling and bereavement support. They ensure that every patient and family at St Clare is supported on every step of their journey.”

As an extra incentive to buy your tickets early, we are giving away ten £10 gift vouchers to those lucky entrants who return their ticket payment quickly. The ‘Early Bird’ prizes will be awarded at random to ten people who return their ticket stubs and payment by Monday 6 February.
