The Shimmer Ball will be taking place at Down Hall Hotel & Spa, located in the gorgeous Essex countryside.

Where is the Shimmer Ball being held? The St Clare Shimmer Ball is taking place at Down Hall Hotel & Spa, Matching Rd, Hatfield Heath, Bishop’s Stortford, CM22 7AS.
What time should I arrive? The St Clare Shimmer Ball is taking place on Friday 8th March 2024 from 7pm until late. We look forward to welcoming guests to the Shimmer Ball, with arrival drinks, from 7pm. The meal will be served from 7.30pm.
Why should I attend? By attending the Shimmer Ball, you’ll not only have an exciting night out but you’ll also be helping St Clare to continue caring for people in need, across West Essex and the East Herts borders.
Can I buy a table at the Shimmer Ball? Yes. The more people you bring along to shimmer with you, the merrier! Tables at the Shimmer Ball are priced at £900 for a table of 10 people.
What food and drinks will be on offer? The Down Hall Hotel menus have been crafted by their team of experienced chefs. When booking tickets, please select if you would prefer a meat, fish or vegan option.
Upon arrival on the night, you’ll be greeted with a glass of bubbly to get your evening started. You will then dine on a delicious three course meal and enjoy a half bottle of wine (per person), all included in your ticket price. On the evening, further drinks can be purchased from the bar.
I’ve got dietary requirements. Can I attend? Yes. We are more than happy to accommodate to your dietary needs. Please state this when booking your tickets and we will work with Down Hall to cater to your special dietary requirements.
What is the dress code for the Shimmer Ball? The evening’s dress code is black tie so make sure to slip into your best dress or suit ready to impress.
