Taking place on Saturday 27th June 2026, this much-loved annual summer fayre in Essex is a brilliant day out for all ages, with plenty to keep your family and friends entertained.

Offering you the chance to enjoy quality time with your loved ones, all while soaking up the sunnier weather that June brings.

All while helping to support compassionate, expert hospice care provided by St Clare Hospice.



What’s On

There is endless fun to be had with a whole host of activities, games and entertainment on offer:

  • All of the classics – including a coconut shy, crockery smash, tombola and hook a duck!
  • Bouncy castles
  • Face paint and glitter bar
  • Lively music and talented performers

The fayre gives you the chance to shop local and support independent businesses from across west Essex and eastern Hertfordshire. Pick up something unique from local makers and artisans, including:

  • Under One Moon
  • Mr Spice
  • Fairfields Honey
  • Made by Eve
  • St Clare Hospice’s Scarlet, Vintage & Retro shop

If you want to take a break from all of the fun inflatables, shows and games, you can stay hydrated and fuel up at our food and drinks stalls.

  • Enjoy finger-licking chicken from The Chicken Strip and authentic Jamaican flavours from Grants Kitchen
  • Sip on your favourite coffee or fizzy drink from Brownies Coffee Shop
  • Plus, a candy floss and ice cream stall with sweet treats for you & your pooch!

Frequently Asked Questions

Entry can be purchased on the day at St Clare Hospice. We accept cash and card payments.

The Hospice building is fully wheelchair accessible, and assistive and disabled toilets are available. A hearing loop is also provided.

Currently, the hospice does not have a Changing Places toilet. 

The Summer Fayre will be held on uneven grass terrain.
