Helen Grubb

As Director of Human Resources at St Clare Hospice, Helen is responsible for Human Resources and Volunteer Services. She joined the charity as it was the ideal opportunity to bring her HR and leadership skills to help make St Clare a great place to work and volunteer.

Helen joined St Clare Hospice in January 2019. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) and has significant experience at a senior level in the hospice, charity and healthcare sectors. Previous to joining St Clare, she led the HR & Volunteer team at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Trinity College and held HR roles at Cancer Research UK and in the NHS. Helen is passionate about ensuring that St Clare Hospice provides an environment where our people, both staff and volunteers, feel supported, engaged and valued, enabling them to deliver excellent services to meet the needs of our community.
