Santa’s Grotto bookings are officially open, and we can’t wait to welcome you this Christmas for a heartwarming festive adventure. Step into Santa’s cosy grotto, meet the man himself, receive a mystery present, and help gather food for Rudolph ready for Christmas Eve.
This is more than just a festive family outing – it’s a chance to make lasting memories while supporting your local hospice. All proceeds go directly to St Clare Hospice, helping us provide expert care and support to people in our community living with a life-limiting illness.
Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is essential!

SEND Sessions
At St Clare Hospice, we believe every child deserves the magic of Christmas. That’s why we’re offering dedicated SEND sessions at our Santa’s Grotto – to ensure children with special educational needs and disabilities can enjoy a festive experience that’s tailored to their needs.
These sessions are designed to be quieter, calmer, and more flexible, with sensory-friendly adjustments and a welcoming environment where families can feel supported and relaxed. We want every child to feel safe, seen, and celebrated – because the joy of meeting Santa should be accessible to all.

Included with every ticket:
- Entrance to our magical pop-up grotto at Harlow Garden Centre
- A chance to gather food for Rudolph ready for Christmas Eve

What does it cost?
Grotto tickets are £15 (plus booking fee) per child.
Each booking includes up to two accompanying adults per family. Any additional adults will be charged £3 each at the door.
Santa can welcome a maximum of four children per visit. If your group includes more than four children, please contact us in advance to make suitable arrangements.
When will the Grotto be open?

Are tickets refundable or exchangeable?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Who can attend a Santa visit?
Each booking includes up to two accompanying adults per family. Any additional adults will be charged £3 each at the door.

Where will the Grotto be?
Harlow Garden Centre: Canes Ln, Hastingwood, Harlow CM17 9LD
There is free parking available on-site. The Garden Centre Café offers toilet and baby changing facilities as well as food and drink options. The venue is wheelchair accessible to ensure ease of access for all visitors.
Please note that dogs are not permitted in the Grotto area.
Clear signage will be displayed throughout the venue to help guide you to the Grotto.
