Everyone’s favourite Frozen characters will be at the starting line to see off the walkers and runners as they set off on the 5km route around Harlow on Sunday, December 13.
Before the start of the fun run, Elsa and Anna will be available to meet their fans and pose for pictures.
St Clare events fundraiser Heather Cameron said: “We couldn’t think of anyone better than Elsa and Anna to start our event and we are thrilled they will be joining us on the day as we know just how much people of all ages love Frozen.
“Our Festive Fun Run is the perfect family-friendly event for people to kick off their festive celebration while supporting their local Hospice this Christmas. We really hope as many people as possible will be part of it, not only to join us in getting into the spirit of the occasion but also to raise vital funds to help us care for local families this yuletide.”
Registration costs £7.50 for adults and £2.50 for children and participants are asked to pledge to raise a minimum of £45 in sponsorship, enough to cover the cost of providing Christmas dinner to a family staying at the Hospice over the festive period.
Participants can also register on the day from 8.15am. The route is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, and dogs are welcome.
