It’s not long until all the fun of the Fayre, arrives at St Clare Hospice.

On Saturday the 8th of July from 11am to 4pm the field next to the Hospice will be transformed into a fun-filled extravaganza with food and craft stalls, shows and inflatables – there is something for all the family!
Fayre-goers can look forward to entertainment throughout the day including a performance by Sorelle Performing Arts Academy as well as demonstrations by UKA Karate and Bounce trampoline fitness. With birds of prey and face painting, children can also join in on our Clare Bear hunt and have fun spotting bears around the fayre to win your very own soft toy.

St Clare Hospice hopes to raise £6,000 from the event which could cover 3 days of Hospice at Home care – a team of nurses and healthcare assistants who deliver vital care in the comfort of people’s own homes in the last weeks of life.

Event organiser Ellie Gale, St Clare Hospice Relationship Fundraising Manager, said… “This has been an exciting fundraiser to work on, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our local community to our first Summer Fayre – and raise lots of money for the charity! The Hospice needs to raise more than £8,500 every single day to cover all our costs – so it’s events like this that really keep our hospice running, day and night!”

Every year St Clare Hospice supports over 1,500 local people including family support services which consider patients’ practical, emotional, spiritual and social needs, as well as offering assistance for friends and family.

Don’t miss out on this great event to kick start your summer of fun and raise money for an amazing charity in your local community.

Entry costs are £3 per adult, payable on the gate and, free for children (16 years and under). Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Please note: This event is being held on grass. An accessible port-a-loo is available on-site.
